These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SeeFoody (the “Service”), including our website and mobile applications. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You are responsible for activity under your account
• You must provide accurate account information
• You may sign in with email/password or Google where available

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to access another user’s account or data
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
• Upload malicious code or content you do not have rights to use
• Abuse AI, search, or authentication features

Health and nutrition disclaimer

SeeFoody helps you track food and estimate nutrition information. The Service is for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. AI-generated estimates and third-party food data may be inaccurate. Consult a qualified health professional before making dietary or health decisions.

Subscriptions and billing

Some features require a paid “Pro” subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the billing management tools we provide. Prices and features may change with notice where required. Refunds are handled according to applicable law and our billing policies.

AI features

AI meal and body-fat estimates are optional features subject to usage limits. You grant us permission to send the photos and text you submit to our AI providers solely to generate estimates for you. Do not submit content you do not have rights to share.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as meal notes and photos). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you.

Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or code except as needed to use the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request account deletion as described on our Support page. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect the Service or other users.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where prohibited by applicable law.
